Federico Film a été fondé en 1997 par Marta Laryssa Plucinska, diplomée du Département production de l’École nationale polonaise du film de Lodz, et de l’Université de Wroclaw. Un de ses films, Pancia, réalisé par Iwona Siekierzynska, a été parrainé par Krzysztof Kieslowski. Federico Films fait partie de l’Association des Producteurs Polonais Indépendants et de l’Association Nationale des Producteurs Audiovisuels. Federico Films a produit et coproduit des films réalisés par Jan Jakub Kolski, Lech Majewski et Robert Glinski entre autres. L’une de ses productions, Facing up, réalisé par Marek Stacharski a reçu le prix “Nouveau Cinéma Polonais“ lors du festival Era New Horizons de Wroclaw en 2007. De plus, le film Earthly Paradise, réalisé par Gerwazy Regula, a été présenté en Compétition Officielle lors du 33ème Festival du Film Polonais à Gdynia.

One of its productions, Facing up, directed by Marek Stacharski, received the Era New Horizons of Wroclaw Film Award in the competition “New Polish Cinema” in 2007.Moreover, the film
Earthly Paradise, directed by Gerwazy Regula was presented in the Main Competition at 33rd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia.
