Synopsis

In the Kingdom, all the books are getting empty of their stories. Immediately, the good king Balthazar gets bored to death, dragging the entire population down into depression.

Pierre-Luc Granjon

After graduating from the School of Applied Arts in Lyon, Pierre-Luc Granjon joined Folimage Studio in 1998 as a modeler. In 2001, he made his first puppet film, Petite Escapade, followed in 2003 by Le Château des autres. Later on, he made two paper cut animation films, L’Enfant sans bouche (2004, Studio Corridor) and Le Loup Blanc (2006, Sacrebleu Productions). The following years were devoted to Les Saisons de Léon (Folimage), including four 26 minute episodes co-written and co-directed with Antoine Lanciaux. In 2013, he directed La Grosse Bête (Les Décadrés Production). He currently works on his feature film project, L’armée des lapins (Foliascope).
