The Kinopolska Polish Film Festival in France, has been organized by Paris Polish Institute since 2008. It has a double mission : It aims at bringing back to life masterpieces of Polish cinema and unreleased films by great directors as well as showing contemporary new films.Six films, screened in France for the first time, will be in competition for the Jury Prize and The Audience Prize.
This year, Paris Polish Institute celebrates the 250th anniversary of Public theatres in Poland. The festival proposes, in parallel, a selection of films exploring this subject from yesterday’s classics (Wajda, Konwicki) to today’s new experiences.
